Robyn nominerad till amerikansk Grammy

Flera svenskar har chans att vinna priser

Robyn och stjärnproducenterna RedOne och Max Martin har chansen att vinna musikvärldens mest prestigefyllda musikpris.

Alla tre nominerades till en amerikansk Grammy natten till torsdagen.

Robyn är nominerad i kategorin bästa danslåt för sin "Dancing on my own". Hon tävlar mot tunga namn som Rihanna, Lady Gaga, La Roux och Goldfrapp.

RedOne är nominerad till priset årets producent och som producent på Lady Gagas nominerade album "The fame monster".

Nominerad 2008

Robyn har under året rönt stora framgångar både i Europa och i USA men sin skivtrilogi "Body talk". RedOne har under 2010 bland annat producerat åt Enrique Iglesias och Mika. Han jobbar just nu med Lady Gagas kommande platta.

Robyn var nominerad till en Grammy för två år sedan, för bästa dans-/electronicaalbum, men gick miste om priset då. RedOne vann en Grammy så sent som i fjol, bästa danslåt för "Poker face" med Lady Gaga.

Även stjärnproducenten Max Martin är nominerad, som en av producenterna på Katy Perrys senaste album "Teenage dream", en skiva som i sin tur kan vinna priset för årets album.

Von Otter

Två andra svenskar har också chans att vinna en Grammy. Producenten och dj:n Axwell är nominerad för bästa remix och Ann-Sofie von Otter för bästa klassiska artist. Den svenska operasångerskan är en van Grammyfavorit. Hon har vunnit priset tre gånger, senast för sju år sedan.

Flest vinstchanser på Grammygalan har den amerikanske rapparen Eminem. Han är nominerad till hela tio priser, bland annat bästa album och årets låt. Singer-songwritern Bruno Mars har sju nomineringar medan Jay-Z, Lady Antebellum och Lagy Gaga ligger tätt efter med sex nomineringar var.

Grammygalan äger rum den 13 februari 2011 i Los Angeles.

Tidigt på morgonen twittrade Robyn om nomineringen: ”Thank you for tweeting me all this love about the grammy nomination. Feels good!”
